About PathoScan

PathoScan is building rapid molecular water screening for institutions that need an answer sooner than conventional 24–72 hour culture workflows can provide. The first development focus is an E. coli and coliform assay designed around isothermal amplification and a visual readout.

Our aim is to connect each sample, test lot, internal control, result, and operator to a traceable digital record. Over time, this foundation can support multiplex pathogen screening and broader microbial surveillance across water, food, hospitals, aquaculture, and environmental programmes.

PathoScan is starting deliberately: one assay, one sample type, and institutional pilot partners who can help establish analytical performance and validate the workflow in real-world water matrices.
